Art Commissions Information

If you'd like to hire me for a private/personal art commission, please read through this page to get an overview of my services and current rates.Before ordering, make sure to read my Terms of Service. These terms only apply to non-commercial (personal use) commissions.Commercial art commissions requires a separate agreement.

Note:• For commercial/business commissions, there can be a price increase of 100% to 150% from the prices listed below, depending on various factors.• Prices may vary depending on complexity, and amount of details.

Terms of Service

GENERAL TERMS

•These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice.•I reserve the right to decline any order for any reason.•If you'd like to commission art for commercial purposes (you can make money from it), please let me know in advance. The terms and prices change in this case.•Complex backgrounds will have an increase in price according to complexity. With the prior agreement between the client and artist.

PAYMENT TERMS

•Payment only via PayPal.•Please don't send any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot. I will only accept payments through PayPal invoices for the safety of both parties.•I only accept full upfront payment.

HOW TO ORDER A COMMISSION

Send an Email to [email protected] with the following information:•Type of commission (headshot, half-body, full-body)•Character reference (sheet, age, body type, detailed description, or photos)•Pose reference, expression, accessories, and anything to keep in mind.•Preferred color palette (cold or warm), and light source (where the light is coming from), it can be: side light, top-side, bottom light, or backlight)•Background preference (solid color or more elaborate)•Specify drawing for personal or commercial purposes.•Do you prefer to send the payment before or after receiving the first sketch?•PayPal email where I should send the invoice.Payment only via PayPaI.If you don't have specific preferences for perspective, lighting, expression, color palette, or background, I'll use my creative judgment.One the commission is accepted, please be patient with the process.Additional details can be discussed via Facebook, Twitter, and Discord if preferred

PROCESS AND DELIVERY

The work process will be as follows:1. Once the order is comfirmed, I'll start by making the first sketch.2. I'll send you the sketch (with watermark) for review, you can request any changes at this stage. After painting begins, only minor changes are allowed. Major changes may incur an extra fee.3. After all necessary adjustments and payment are completed, I'll proceed to finish the piece. You'll receive 2 or more WIP updates during this process.Final delivery:•You will receive the final piece in full HD quality without watermark.•My signature must not be removed from the drawing.Estimated delivery time:Delivery times may vary based on complexity, my workload, health, and con season schedules. Remember that this is only an estimate and not a fixed time. If you need the commission in a short time there could be an extra charge.Bust: 2-6 weeksHalf body: 3-7 weeksFull body: 4-8 weeks

COPYRIGHT AND USAGE POLICY

I, AkirouArt (the artist):•Retain full copyright over the commissioned artwork.•Will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of your characters.•Will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) violates any of these terms.•Reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online or in my portfolio.•Reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.You (the client):•May upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social media (with credit).•May NOT profit from the commissioned piece (reselling, printing, redistributing, uploading to POD services, etc.)•May NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist's) consent.•Retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).•May NOT use the commissioned piece for commercial purposes.•May print artwork only for personal use.The following are considered copyright infringement:•Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - means making money of it in any way not excluded from these terms.• Claiming the artwork as your own.•Modifing the artwork without my permission.Note: In some cases, the commercial rights to the image may be purchased.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

The buyer is not allowed to get a refund once I started working on the commission•If for any reason I am unable to start your commission you will receive a full refund.•If you cancel your order before I started it, you can get a refund (excluding Paypal fees).•If you are getting a refund, do not request a Paypal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.•If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all before-mentioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply PaypaI with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.
