Art Commissions info

If you want to hire me for a private/personal commission please read through this page to get an overview of my services and current rates.Before ordering, please read my Terms of Service. These terms apply to private/personal commissions only. This information does NOT apply to commercial work, therefore the art can only be used for the client’s personal purposes.

PRICES

For commercial/business commissions, there is a price increase of 100% to 150% from the prices listed below, depending on various factors.Prices may vary depending on complexity, and amount of details.Explicit nsfw commission has an increase of 15%.Commissions for Patreons have a 15% discount.

Terms of Service

GENERAL TERMS

•Please note that these terms may change at any time and without prior notice.•I have the right to reject any order for any reason.•If you want to purchase a drawing for commercial purposes (you can make money from it), let me know. The terms and prices change in this case.•Complex backgrounds will have an increase in price according to complexity. With the prior agreement between the client and artist.

PAYMENT TERMS

•Payment only via PayPal.•Don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot. I only accept payment through PayPal invoices for the safety of both parties.•100% payment for new clients. For previous clients, payment of 50% is permitted: before/after the sketch, and the remaining half upon completion of the drawing.

HOW TO PURCHASE/ORDER A COMMISSION

Send an Email to [email protected] with the all following information:•Type of commission (headshot, half-body, full-body)•Character reference (sheet, age, body type, detailed description, or photo)•Pose reference, expression, accessories, and things to keep in mind.•Color palette (cold or warm), type of light source (where the light is coming from), it can be: light from the side, side-top, bottom light, or backlight•Background (solid or elaborate colors)•Specify drawing for personal or commercial purposes.•Do you prefer to send the payment before or after seeing the first sketch?•Sent email by which I can send you the final product.Payment only via PayPaI.If you do not have any specific reference or request for perspective, lighting source, expression, color palette, or background, then I will decide.Accepted the commission please be patient.Other details can be discussed on private messages (only Facebook, Twitter, and Discord)

PROCESS AND DELIVERY

•The work process will be as follows:1. Once the order is placed, I will start by making the first sketch.2. When the first sketch is finished, it will be sent (with a watermark) so that I can make all the corrections and changes that the client wishes (if any). After I have started painting, small details can be changed or added. There will be an extra charge for big changes.3. Once the necessary corrections and the payment have been made, I will proceed to finish the product. (In the process, I'll be updating with 2 or more WIPs).•What the client receives:The final drawing in full HD quality without watermark.The signature of the drawing CAN NOT BE DELETED.•Delivery times can vary:Delivery times may vary depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, other work, and con seasons. Remember that this is only an estimate and not a fixed time. If you need the commission in a short time there could be an extra charge.Bust: may take 1 week to 5 weeks to finishHalf body: may take 2 weeks to 7 weeks to finishFull body: may take 3 weeks to 8 weeks to finish

COPYRIGHT AND USAGE

I, AkirouArt (the artist):•I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.•I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork. You are paying me to create an image, not to transfer its rights.•I will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork.•I will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) break any of the terms.•I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online and my portfolio as well.You (the customer):•You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social channels.•You may NOT profit from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD services, making prints, etc.)•You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist's) consent.•You retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).•You may NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes.•You (the costumer) may print it solely for personal use.The following is considered copyright infringement:•Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - means making money off it in any way not excluded from these terms.• Claim the artwork as your own.•Altering the artwork without my consent.•In some cases, the commercial rights to the image may be purchased.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

The buyer is not allowed to get a refund once I started working on the commission•If for any reason I am unable to start your commission you will receive a full refund.•If you cancel your order before I started it, you can get a refund (excluding Paypal fees).•If you are getting a refund, do not request a Paypal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.•If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all before-mentioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply PaypaI with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.
